Chalet Chevron is a boutique Bed and Breakfast Guest House business, owned and run by Barb Ross and Kelly Wright.

Barb Ross: has had several years experience as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager and has worked for the Chief Executives of some of the largest companies in New Zealand. She enjoys the "9 to 5" office lifestyle so much that she continues to work fulltime outside the Chalet during the week. She does spend time with Guests in the evenings (often in the Guest lounge) arranging dinner reservations or advising on the best clothes shops in nearby Newmarket. Barb especially enjoys meeting the Chalet's international Guests and often swaps travel stories with them as she and Kelly have both travelled extensively around the world.
Kelly Wright: Kelly is a qualified lawyer who finished a 30 year international career in finance and banking in late 2006. After trying retirement (and failing miserably) Kelly saw the Chalet Chevron B&B business as the ideal opportunity to fulfill one of his life-long dreams of becoming involved in the New Zealand tourism industry at a very hands on, personal level. As such, you will see Kelly at various times during the day either cooking breakfast in the Chalet kitchen, making beds or doing the laundry, behind the Chalet's reception desk advising on tourist options in and around Auckland or preparing evening pre-dinner drinks for his Guests.
